 With the closure that is being proposed, the Town will maintain both directions of traffic on the existing southbound lanes of Battlefield Parkway.  That way Battlefield heading north away from Edwards Ferry and heading south towards Edwards Ferry will be maintained as one way in each direction.  There will be a lane shift at the intersection of Battlefield Pkwy and Artillery Terrance/Woods Edge Drive.  The Town will be working with the Leesburg Police to see what can be done to monitor/”police” the cut through traffic.
