Message from Leesburg Tree Commission
Posted on Oct 13th, 2010

The Tree Commission meets once a month on the 3rd Tuesday of the month. The Town Forester, Jay Banks, attends all meetings and there is even a time set aside for public input/Q & A. They have a very informative website located at www.leesburgva.org/trees. The Commission plans tree related events throughout the year that provide education and instruction on tree care, removal, planting, pruning and more. There are many benefits to trees, especially the economical benefit provided by reducing utility costs and adding to property values. Check out our website to see how to use trees to save and make money.
